The characters are Daphne who is a sunflower and Sunny who is the sunset. They both struggle with their self-image and compare one another in their thoughts. Daphne comes up with an idea to try and fix her opinion of herself. Sunny sees what Daphne is trying to do and tries it herself. Things don't go to plan.

I am an 8th grader who wanted to write a children's book that could make an impact. I enjoy reading in my free time and think it is very important to instill a love for reading at an early age. I also play volleyball for my school.
