Nathan is an eight year old in Grade 3. He has trouble with English, and gets bullied at recess for being a slow reader in class. Nathan's teacher Mr. Fields thinks Nathan is just not putting any effort into his work and therefore will not help him unless shown proof of Nathan's effort. The problem is Nathan has difficulty reading and it is hard for him to write down his ideas. Nathan starts to think he is dumb and wonders what is wrong with him.
In November, Mr. Fields gets into an accident and is unable to teach for the rest of the year. Thus, a supply comes in to take his place. The supply, Mrs. Towns, starts to notice Nathan's problem with English and decides to confront him.
What does Mrs. Towns want? What is wrong with Nathan? Read this riveting new storybook and find out.
