I have lived in five cities; four of which I have lived in two separate times. From 1985 to 2017, I worked at twelve hotels in five major markets. I have motorcycled through thirty states and six countries. Along the way I have made many life-long friends, and a few enemies. I’ve encountered numerous famous people and had many adventures. Every time I tell one of these stories, the response I get is the same: “You should write a book”.
The following memoir recounts some of those accomplishments and influential people, as well as some destructive behavior. It is a series of short stories, weaved together with brief life history,telling how my life and personality have been shaped by my hotel career.
I’m lucky to be here to tell these stories.
