Aynsley Jane Langevin, born December 23rd, 1994, has always had a penchant for writing. Her dream is to one day be able to make a living as a freelance author. She wrote The Musician during a national event known as National Novel Writing Month (or, more commonly, NaNoWriMo) – an event in which 50,000 words are put to one novel in 30 days. The literary abandon of such a challenge was the perfect thing to get Aynsley’s ball rolling. Pushing out that first draft threw her over the fence into the wild pit of people who just may be able to call themselves authors. The author lives just outside of Portland, Maine with her mother and has the best writing companion she could ask for: her homicidal kitty named Snuggles.
