At age 41, I was very concerned for my health. Finally, on March 1st, 2010, I had enough, and wrote myself a detailed diet program from information I got online. I completely changed my routine and dedicated myself completely to getting in shape. I set up a diet of 1,200 to 1,400 calories per day, ate my meals 6 times a day (this boosts metabolism), drank several glasses of water each day, took my fat burners, metabolism boosters & other supplements, and walked about 10 – 15 hours per week. I lost about 6 pound my first week, and about 1 pound each day thereafter for the next 40 days. I was amazed! I had so much momentum and was on my way. Over the next several months, I had actually slowed down my program somewhat and it took me 9 more months to lose the rest of the weight.
