From a young age, Ross Morrison developed a love for the sea. As a child he would spend summers at the beach in the water, and on boats. His passion for boats turned into a love of ships, oceanliners to be specific.

Once he became a father he discover a new passion, reading to his sons. It was while reading bed times stories one night that he decided to combine his love for ships, and reading bedtime stories - Stacks was created.
