Growing up in El Paso, TX most of my "recetas" come from watching my Abuelita Lola, Mi Papa, Mi Tia Emma, y Mi Mama cooking up a storm. As I grew up and moved to San Antonio, TX I learned new ways of cooking especially from Mrs. Barrera and her TexMex style. My final culinary influence came from California, I began to see new cultures and ways of cooking. My kitchen became healthier and I began to take more risks like cooking chinese food from scratch!
