Dr. Christopher Stone is the younger son of Donna J. Stone. A published poet himself by the age of nine, he's had a lifelong appreciation for the written word and its artists. Dr. Stone was an active supporter of his mother's writing during her lifetime, from editing to helping select which poems get publshed where. He has remained just as active since her death, managing requests to print Ms. Stone's poems, funding a writers' awards program in his mother's name...and, now, publishing this collection.

Dr. Stone grew up in New York and Dallas, and did his medical training at U.T. Southwestern and Columbia University. He and his wife, also a physician, live in Manhattan.
