Jamie Lee Wolf started writing at a young age, but this is her first book in print. Jamie, a native of Perry County, PA, discovered her love of children’s books before she could read. Due to her toddler bedtime stories, she was immediately intrigued to read and write. She wrote her first story at age 6.
This book was inspired by something Jamie’s grandfather had said to her when she was young. At meal times, Jamie would put salt on everything until her ‘Poppy’ claimed that salt was poison! Now, as an adult, she knows what he meant. As a child, however, it was terrifying.
