I am a Portrait Artist living and working in Colorado, U.S.A

I have a B.A in visual arts and have been painting professionally since 1998.

I'm fortunate to have received several awards, and have collectors both nationally and internationally.

I work mainly in two mediums, oil and pastel, attempting to express the complexities of the human form as simply as possible. To this end, I will often reach for a painting knife instead of a paintbrush. It is my intention to render only that which is essential to my message, omitting unnecessary marks that only serve to complicate and make for a banal work of art.
