I wrote this book and hope I never need to read it to my children. I know of so many other Mother’s that have wished the very same thing, but sadly have had to break the heartbreaking news of “Daddy is never coming home”. No one, except those that live the life, knows the constant terror and fear that a Law Enforcement Family feels on a daily basis when they send their LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) out the door in their uniform. You make the most of every minute that you share with them and you cherish every sweet moment you share because it could be the last. Always send them off with a hug, kiss, I Love You, and be careful. Always end every phone call with I Love You. Pray every day for their safe return.
