Oba Adegbolu Adefunmi was born to the royal house of Adefunmi in the Oyotunji African Village. His pather was the founder of Oyotunji and "Father of the Cultural Restoration" movement in the USA. Adefunmi grew up surrounded by the sights and sounds of the development of the Yoruba culture in the USA. Oba Adefunmi II ascended the throne july 3rd 2005 become the second in a line of Kings which began at Ile-Ife Nigeria.
