I am devoted mother of two and was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. After receiving a Masters of Art in Criminal Justice in 2007, I later realized that my real passion is to teach and help others to learn. In 2010 I decided to change career paths. Today, I am currently enrolled in the Childhood Education program at Brooklyn College where I plan to receive my Masters in Childhood Education and begin my teaching career.

One of the best things about being a mother is spending lots of time with my children and doing things that they love most. I spend most of my free time with my children reading to them their favorite stories. I have always loved reading children’s books and writing for children is something that I have always wanted to do. I was really enthusiastic about writing the story “Get ready! It’s a Pizza Party with pizza fractions!” Being a mother of a school-age child, I know how difficult it can be for children to grasp difficult math concepts. “Get ready! It’s a Pizza Party with pizza fractions!” is a story that inspires children to want to learn and understand the concepts of fractions, addition and subtraction in a fun way.
