My name is Takisha Payne, I am a wife, mother, friend, blogger, and aspiring author. Writing has always been a part of my life. When I was younger and someone that I loved passed away I would insist on writing a poem and reading it at their funeral. I thought of it as a way for them to know that I loved them and they could take my words with them. Lately, I have been encouraged by my blog to write more often. I dream of words and stories, they dance in my head like ripe fruit waiting to be picked. I Thank the Lord daily for the ideas and words he inserts into my brain. I am thankful for the blessings I have and those yet to come from my words of encouragement to others. I hope my stories encourage not only children but parents as well.
