I never really gave poetry much thought when I was growing up. Then one day, while times were tough, it just came to me. I realized that poetry doesn't need to rhyme for it to work. You just need to make it flow and make a visual picture. Poems written with raw emotion work best. I shared my poems with a couple of close friends, and they told me that they were amazing, and I should share them with the world.
