Keith Byrd entered CJD in 2009. He is originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and moved to Jacksonville, Florida due to his joining of the U.S. Navy. He joned the Navy in 1996 straight out of high school and was stationed in Mayport Florida aboard the USS Doyle. After a stint on the Doyle, Keith then transferred to the USS John F. Kennedy until 2000. he later transferred to SSB2 Unit until 2004. In 2006 Keith enrolled at then Florida Metropolitan University were he majored in Criminal Justice. Later on the University changed its name to Everest University and he graduated with his associates degree. In 2009 he enrolled back at Everest University were he met the rest of the CJD group and friendship was born.
