I have over 30 years experience as a Therapist and Life Coach, 9 years as a Director of Social Development for Tsleil-Waututh First Nation as well as 15 years working with the Salish communities providing direct design services in Mental Health, Family and Child Development, Education, Employment and Training, Assessment, Job and Life Coaching, as well as Spiritual programs
I have presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of Child and Family Development, Youth at Risk, Effective Assessment Tools, Designing and Implementing Community Social Support Programs as well as the role of Spirituality in Health and Healing.
For the past 3 years I have been teaching with Continuing Education in Alberta and presenting workshops sharing what I have learned. I also have a private therapeutic practice. I specialize in Hypnotherapy, TimeLine Therapy, Body Dynamics Emotional Release, and Indigenous Archetype Psychology, I am a practicing Aroma-therapist.


I am an interactive, solution-focused individual. My approach is to provide support and practical feedback as well as tools to help to effectively address life challenges. I integrate complimentary methodologies, techniques and processes to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each community and person I have worked with. With compassion and understanding, I work towards building on strengths to attain wholeness and well being; my personal view point is that All Life is Sacred. It is our ability to respond to life as it happens that creates our well being.

I enjoy music, art, reading and learning new things. My partner is a teacher and is currently teaching in Whale Cove, Nunavut. My heritage is Cree, Métis, Irish, and Ukrainian. My First Nation is the Michel Calliou Band. My Great - Great Grand parents lived in Lac St. Anne. My Grand Mother and my Mother were brought up there. As children we started our life there.
I am the oldest of 6 children; I have a 35 year old son and a 13 year old grandson. I love animals; I drove my parents crazy bringing home every stray and injured animal in the area. One time I found a bunch of baby mice and the mother was dead. I put the baby mice in a card board box and snuck them into my bedroom. Needless to say when I woke up the next morning they had chewed out of the box and disappeared. A couple of days later my Mom was screaming because she found mice behind the stove. It took my Dad 2 days to get those mice out of the house. I never told my parents this story until I had moved out.
