La'Garien Johnnie Thomas was born of Monica Lauderdale in 1992 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. His mother died April 21, 2010 during his senior in High School. His father, (Gary Thomas) is a Minister in Mobile, Alabama and has been spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ for at least 17 years. La'Garien is the youngest of two siblings, Ageria and Gary Jr. La'Garien began writing inspirational words of encouragement on the popular site (Facebook). He says it became intriguing once he saw how many of his friends were encouraged by his words. After many compliments, he knew that God had given him a gift of encouragement so he decided to further his writing by creating a website titled, "appointedwords.com." This website contained "Daily Tips", "Relationship Tips", etc., and all of his messages pertained to Jesus Christ. Appointed Words Ministries is an organization created to, Encourage, Save and Inspire. La'Garien hopes to further his encouragement by his upcoming book!
