Myer is a member of the Studio 16 art cooperative, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, served as Assistant Secretary of the US Commission of Fine Arts, and Clerk of the Works of the Washington National Cathedral. He was recipient of the Washington AIA’s 2004 ‘Centennial Award’ and the DC Architect & Engineer Societies 2005 ‘Architect of the Year’ award. He serves on the Washington National Cathedral Foundation Building Committee, Trustee of the Adams Memorial Foundation Library of American Letters, Trustee of the DC Preservation League, and is included in Who’s Who in America.
