This book was written by Marshall Rey and Caitlyn Guillen. Marshall, is a teenage boy going through a rapid transition from female to male. His poems are all his feelings expressed in words. Caitlyn, a artistic teenage girl, having a writer as a father adapted writing to be one of her outlets for her expression.
