Danette Simmons works for a non- profit organization as a family specialist, and has worked with youth and families for eleven years, she has helped youth to discover and use their own personal strengths and thoughts for change, encouragement, and empowerment. She facilitates groups on “How to deal with bullying,” and teaches youth about the power of positive self talk and being assertive.
