just keeping active

Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Moved to Calgary,Alberta in 1979. I have four children and two grandchildren. I work as a Nursing Assisstant in a long term care facility. When I am not working I either read,do some activity with my grandson,cousin,or my friends. My favorite music is gospel. But I also listen to other types of music especially old school reggae.I like to read educational books. Books that have value,morally speaking , go for walks,read and write.

My writings rage from poems,short stories or things of interest relating from government issues to youth issues.My writings take me to whatever mood I am in at the time on most occassion though.

I also like to cook especially when i know I am having company come by. My favorite food is an old time regular that was made on Saturdays.

"Home made bake beans with corn bread".

But formost in life I try to be a good person with God as my center in all things.
