Apostle Rayford L. Hawkins was born September 30, 1952 to Raymond and Jannie Hawkins. He is the third sibling of five sons. He lived his early years and received his formal education in Asheville, North Carolina. Upon his arrival to Atlanta, Georgia he took on the role and training as an Emergency Medical Technician with Grady Emergency Medical Services where he retired as the Director of EMSS.
Apostle Hawkins attended Dekalb Community College where he received his EMS diploma as a Advanced EMT/Paramedic.. . He advanced to the position of Director of EMS and through the grace of God established the number one Emergency Medical Service in the Southeast which received numerous awards for outstanding service.
He retired from Grady Health System after 24 years of service in 1994 to fulfill and seek the purpose God had placed in his heart…after many years many years of training and mentoring…
Apostle Hawkins acknowledged the calling to be an ambassador for God and began to pursue the mandate as the Apostolic Bishop for The Light of the World International Ministries and Eagles Wings International Family Network Ministries.
