Shelia Dianne Johnson Chandler was born on December 31, 1955. She was raised primarly in Louisiana. Her childhood years were filled with love, family, dicipiline, and structure. As a young adult she left Louisiana remarried and began telling her families stories, which led her to write. She felt compelled to put pen to paper for her family's future generations to know the ones that walked before them. Shelia has one son, and presently resides with her husband in bedroom community of Houston, Texas.
