Valerie Alvarez is a 28 year old graduate student. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington pursuing a masters degree in Social Work. She lives in Fort Worth, Texas with her dachshund, Chuy. She hopes to write many children's books in a series about life lessons with an animal theme.
