About the Book

In October of 2024, Analise Stoddart—AKA SYMPHONY THE SYSTEM—was diagnosed with Stage 1 Thyroid Cancer. They describe the experience as feeling like they hit the ground, and suddenly realizing that they’d been living as if they were already dying. The decision to write was unanimous—as Symphony is a DID system and needed to consult with various alters in order to produce the book—but a lifelong dream was achieved: to finish what had been started.

Analise Londyn Stoddart AKA Symphony the System/Symphony the Sojourner/Ana Londyn is primarily a singer/songwriter based in ATL, GA. Their discography includes LOVE NOTES VOLUME ONE (2018), OTHERWORLD (2021), SOLILOQUY ACTS I & II (2024), and INTERLUDE (2024). In 2019, Symphony was institutionalized and diagnosed with DID and PTSD. They then spent COVID-19 trapped in their old hometown against their doctors’ wishes. The pandemic reignited their love for creation and prompted a move to the East Side of Atlanta. Post making the move, Symphony has dedicated their life to destigmatizing mental health through fashion, art, and song. Since then they have released two music videos and a documentary: SPACESHIP (2022) directed by Lailona Holloway & filmed by her team, followed by A/C (2023)—which was directed by Symphony themself, and filmed/edited by Jameia Mitchell. SYMPHONY THE DOCUMENTARY was also released in 2022 and is located on Symphony’s YouTube channel.

“I make the kind of music I like to listen to—and the art I like to consume.”

- SYMPHONY THE SOJOURNER
