About Author
Dr. David Harvey completed medical school at the Washington University School of Medicine. He is board certified in dermatology and a fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon, completing his fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas. He holds dermatology and surgical privileges at Piedmont Hospital.
Dr. Harvey is the current treasurer for the Georgia Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He has previously served as Presidents for both the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Academically, Dr. Harvey has authored over 20 peer reviewed scientific articles. He teaches dermatology residents at Emory and UT Southwestern to keep sharp.
His wife Nina and two children live in nearby Tyrone, Georgia.
