During a two week vacation at the Jersey shore in 2001, Peter Carlo meets a stranger, Ralph, and through conversations and flashbacks, he explores a crisis in his marriage, that leads him to painful and deep discoveries about life, relationships, women and himself. He also finds in Ralph a history he never knew.
