How would you feel if you were completely disowned? Purposefully put into foster care because your parents couldn't take care of you? Orphaned by choice, not by accident?
That's exactly why Adeline hates everything she thought she once knew.

"She threw me away. She told me she didn't want to take care of me anymore. She said she couldn't do it." A tear slipped down my cheek.
"Well then she's right to have done that." He says. I look up in surprise and hurt. "She doesn't deserve you, Adeline."
As he took a step towards me, he lifted a hand to my cheek to wipe away the tear.
"Don't cry. You're beautiful, smart, funny, and caring. Your personality could never compare to anyone else's. Don't ever let what that women who raised you as a child affect oh in any way."
I couldn't help but let the edges of my mouth twitch upwards in a slight smile. "Thank you."

My name is Chloe Smith, I was born in 2002. I have been writing for years since I started my passion for it in the 4th grade when I decided to write an entire series by hand on regular old paper. My teachers have read small samples of my work here and there and have continued to encourage my growth as a writer. A lot of my writing I base off of what I see in my own life combined with my insane imagination and dreams. I also take inspiration from other amazing authors that I have been reading from for years.
