Three raccoon youngsters decide to use a floating log for a river boat. But when their log boat heads into dangerous waters, they become trapped on a big rock above a high waterfall. Since they cannot swim safely back to land they need the help of other forest friends: A duck, a beaver, an eagle and an owl. Together they form a plan to rescue the raccoons.

Following retirement from an electric utility career after 40 years, I'm now pursuing writing. My desire to publish a book was born out of bed-time stories I once told my own kids.
