About Author
Alan S. Orth was born and raised in Carlsbad, California. From and early age he enjoyed traveling and learning about the culture and traditions of countries around the world.
After graduating from college in 2007, he joined the Volunteer Service Organization (VSO) and was sent to teach computer science at the Holy Rosary Women's College in Tala, Kenya.
After completing his volunteer service in 2009, Alan became a consultant with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Niarobi, Kenya. He currently resides in Westlands, a small suburb just out of Niarobi.
