Courtney looked everywhere. Her mom was missing. She checked the stalls, none of the horses where missing. "She didn't leave a note or anything," Courtney said out loud. She ran to the river. Her mother usually went to hang out there on the hammock. She wasn't there either. Courtney, for the first time, was alone.
