Sam Beltz, also goes by Slam, grew up in Cedar Rapids. He has been writing poems and short stories since he first began to write, unpublished. His favorite things to do are video games and sleeping. He was abused by his father for 6 years before he was brave enough to stand up to his father and report the abuse on him and his brother. Sam is happy now with his step father and mother.
