I grew up with my adopted parents for nine to ten years. I know nothing of my bio parents. I was taken away by the police and put into foster care by the end of fifth grade. Growing up I had rapidly matured so that I could survive the harsh reality of the world and protect my sister. My parents protected me from the bad, but once I was in foster care I toughened up and took on responsibilities that no child should have to take that early in life. I realized how evil life can be to one person. I moved multiple times. I got used to acting like someone older than I was. This was good and bad because I needed to stand up for me and my sister, but some foster homes said it wasn't my place. I am 18 now and I am ready for what comes my way. My parents adopted parents passed away a few years ago. All I really have is my sister. I am protective of her. I am full of stories from my life, and I'm happy to share my life experiences with those who are willing to listen.
