Ara’s parents are dead, she has no home, no place on earth where she feels free; she blames herself for what she left behind being barren and dark…she doesn’t know where she’s heading, all she knows is where she’s been.
Renard’s life is picture perfect; his family is middle class, they have a nice home, and fabulous yard. Renard has no shortage of friends, everyone loves him, and he already has a full ride scholarship to the college of his choice…and yet, he felt that there was something missing from his life.
When people start to go missing just when Ara shows up no one knows what to think, but there are a group of teenagers who aren’t scared to find out… Renard and his friends Faelyn, Ceprix, and Shade meet up to find this mysterious girl, and are shocked at what they discover.
Renard and his group of mischievous teens ask Ara and her friend Emery to help find whoever is taking the people from their town, not just for the town itself, but to clear Ara’s name. Will this group of really special teens with their own spectacular talents have what it takes to take down the new big bad in town? Could Ara and the danger that comes along with her be just what Renard needed to feel whole?
