This book is about a girl who has found out she has cancer and is sent to the hospital after she becomes very,very sick. She tells of her life in hospital and how after every time she is so close to dying, she constantly awakes.

My name is Karlien van Wyk. I was born on the 19th October 2000. I was born in South Africa but I only lived there for a few months before moving to Qatar in the Middle East. When I was twelve, I moved to Perth, Australia. I was in advanced classes for all my subjects and I loved writing stories and I still do.
