A thin trickle of blood ran out of his left ear and started to puddle on the asphalt. Margie Blanton grew up in South Georgia and fell in love with creative writing while in high school. She has written short stories "Black Patent and the Butterbean Pot", "Stayin' Off the Tracks" and "The Block" for local publications as well as a collection of poetry, "Mended Fences." With a career spanning fifty years in banking, she loves living in the woods, playing the piano and rescuing dogs. She is also a founding member of the Secret Bee Society and Flat Tire Friends.
