In this book you will see photographs of barns and buildings from yesteryear. They watched families grow for generations before finally being abandoned. Theirs is not a sad story for they were born during exciting times in the life of a family, worked hard to make dreams come true, and finally were left for people like me who continue to be awed and fascinated by them. I wish I knew all of their stories.
Mary Francis McNinch was born and raised in Murdo South Dakota and now lives with her husband Kip in Mabank, TX. Kip and Mary enjoy spending time with their family, RV travel, and their pets. Mary has published three children's books,a book about growing up in a small town in the 1950's and 60's, and two books enjoyed by the preteen age group.
