Every year our family delights in dressing in Renaissance period or fantasy costumes and attend the Castle of Muskogee in Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. It is one of the biggest highlights in Bella's life! She is my little 10 year old granddaughter, who loves to play dress up and wears a different costume every year,which we create together. We all go as a family and she has made many wonderful friends there. Her very favorite lifelong friends are, Craw and Sapphire. They are a lovely couple from Oklahoma City who always come dressed as delightful birds and are so full of fun! I try to capture each year's experience and put it in a treasured story book for Bella. This year 2022 she chose a Pirate Princess costume.

I am the proud mother of 3 sons...Phillip, Jared and Eric. I am also delighted to be "Gigi" to four beautiful grandchildren... Bella, Felix, Tess and Sylvie. This is a story about one of our Rennaisance adventures with Bella. I have been married to Phil, better known as "Pepaw", for 49 years. Bella is my first grandchild and named after me. In fact, she is the 6th generation of "Grace" in our family, dating back to the 1800's. Bella is my first born son's only child. She lives within an hour to us so we see her often and share many fun "Girl" things together.
