Bella is believed to be a black lab/golden retriever mix. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Ohio where her mother was put to sleep. Colleen McNamara fell in love with her the second that she saw her and Bella has been a part of her family ever since. This book contains memories of Bella's first 9 months of her life!

Colleen McNamara is a SUNY Geneseo graduate student that is working towards a masters in Literacy Education. She hopes to teach in an elementary classroom, and eventually work in educational adminstration.
