Derek Laymon is a Chattanooga, Tennessee native, devoted father of 3, and a storybook writer. The concept of telling a story through the eyes of a child came to him during a stroll at the park. As he looked down at his son, he was staring for long periods of time at things that commonly do not catch the eye of adults. It was at that time he wondered just what amazing concepts and imagery is created in a child's mind and thus, the stories began. Derek has a MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Capella University & a BS in Clinical Psychology from Bryan College.
