Set in the 1990's on Long Island, teenage twin girls named Betty and Alice start their freshmen year at Mineola High School. The twins make new friends (and some enemy's) as they enter a new chapter of their lives.

As a child this author had many imaginary friends. Two of them where Betty and Alice. Over the years Betty and Alice have changed a lot. The original Betty and Alice lived on an island with many others, but have always been with this author throughout the years. For this author Betty and Alice symbolize the past and that is why any story you read about them is always set in the past.
