If “a poet is born not made” aphorism written by Florus is to be believed, very few writers would dare to get his pen burning with words, and very scarce would ever think of expressing his thoughts. Not to contradict this historian’s statement, but simply to present myriad points of a more contemporary philosophy: a poet can be made. For the sheer fact that we poets are dreamers and our dream itself is the source that ignites our inclination for expression and fuels us to give life to our imagination.
We writers are born to be dreamers. We all are born to weave our wishes into writing. We are minstrels of words, creatrix of our expressions, ideas and beliefs. Some of us may be born poets, yet, some of us become poets not by birth but by constant learning and practice.
