A novel that takes place in the early 18th century. A princess who shoots her loved one, accidentally with a bow and arrow travels the globe searching for him, to make sure he will survive. Along the way, she crosses paths with pirates, English soldiers and escapes prison, finds herself on the scene of a murder, and falls off a cliff in a coach. She also makes friends with another English girl who was kicked out by her family. Finally after months of desperate searching, she returns home disheartened, and finds her family and her love waiting there for her. But will she be able to cope with the tragedy that has strikes her when she returns?
