Mykel is a troubled child, and when he is ordered to become involved in something to stay out of trouble, he chooses baseball. A standout player for the Bronx All-Stars, Mykel plays his way into professional baseball, making himself known at the highest level of baseball.

Kyle is a junior at North Scott High School, and enjoys baseball and music. His inspiration for this book came from a combination of personal baseball experiences, as well as ideal situations for any baseball player.
