The author is in ninth grade and loves nature and animals. She especially loves horses and participates in a sport called equestrian vaulting (dance and gymnastics on the back of a moving horse) and has gone to the World Championships two times, one of the times coming home with a Bronze medal! She loves spending time with her family and friends and most of all her animals. She currently (as of March 2024) has 2 dogs, 20 chickens, a leopard gecko, a chameleon, and a bunch of fish. She is currently coaching a team in hopes that they become the next team to represent the club at nationals. She has her eye set on going to the World Championships again in 2025 before retiring from the sport, and continuing in the sport as a coach. She loves to do anything outdoors and is always down for a hike, a quick trip to the river to go kayaking or paddle boarding, or a fun day surfing on the lake! She recently found a love for writing poems and hopes to continue that passion!
