This bedtime story has been told by word of mouth for generations within our family. We have never seen a published version of the story, so we thought it would better stand the test of time if it was written down.
Bushy Tail is a squirrel who lives in a hollow tree in the forest with three bears. The bears were very foolish one day and Bushy Tail said he couldn't live with animals as foolish as the bears. But, Bushy Tail said he would return to the tree if he could find three other animals as foolish as the bears with whom he lived.
