This book compares the earlier years in Candia, NH to how it is today. It covers many areas including environment, transportation, Indutries and Jobs, communication, clothing...There is coverage about special places, monuments, Sam Foss, recipes...as well. A special section is devoted to art work done by the 4th grade students.

Fourth grade students from the Henry W. Moore School in Candia, NH, USA have researched Candia's past and present to compose this book. This was a cooperative project by the Unified Arts Team and the fourth grade classroom teachers at the school. Curriculum areas integrated into this project were Language Arts, Music, Art, Health, Physical Education, Social Studies, Technology, Information Literacy, & Writing.
