Duonette grew up in Wellington New Zealand now residing in Qld Australia. She grew up riding horses and competed from the age of 8 til her late teens. Her Dad is a horse trainer and Equine Massage Therapist and her mum was a Vets Assistant, learning much of what she knows about animals from them. Later volunteering as a trainer and carer for the Seeing Eye Dogs. In which she continues to Volunteer. Now known as Vision Australia and owning a Pet Sitting Company herself. While also working alongside a professional Pet Sitters.
She has had a love for poetry since a young age.
