When Edith Cental is born in Chicago in 1896, she expects the greatest lifetime ever. She was 4 when the 20th century dawned on January 1, 1900, and 104 when the 21st century dawned on January 1, 2000. But in 2003, at the age of 107, she is locked in a coma, and sadly dies. Now her great-grandchildren, grandchildren, and children must prepare for the biggest funeral anyone has ever attended to; and to do it so Edith would be happy.
